Range Design
Serious Sport staff worked closely with a former chief designer from Puma UK to create a range that was functional, stylish and repeatable. The need to cater for both the amateur enthusiast and the high end, elite athlete meant no compromise was made with regards to sports specific fabrics and quality of manufacture. As specialists in the field Serious Sport have been able to forge strong links with factories in the UK, Europe & the Far East to increase control on their supply chain and garment production processes.

One such instance has been in the development of a sports specific fabric to regulate the body temperature of the athlete by wicking away moisture from the athletes body. Working closely with designers, fabric technicians and athletes allowed us to develop a unique ‘coolpass treated’ polyester that’s 100% breathable microfibre and its exceptionally high moisture absorbency helps regulate the body temperature and keep you dry. Any transpiration will immediately pass away from the skin due to the nature of the weave and properties of the fabric after treatment meaning that the athlete is kept warm in the winter and cool during the summer.

Both the training and leisure garments have been designed as part of a range meaning that various school, club and county squads feel uniform and proud to wear their team’s kit. The quality of each item in the range allows them to be held in high regard as stand alone, desirable pieces. The range not only includes sports performance garments but also an ever expanding, high quality leisurewear range.
