ME+U Cricket Shoes Review & Testing

Our Score

We are some of the retailers in the world to test the brand-new footwear brand ME+U! Hinders is joined by Rachel, Southern Vipers Academy Keeper, to test the all-rounder and female shoes from the range. They tested the shoes by batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket-keeping to come up with a rating. ME+U are looking to change the cricket footwear game and already have a host of international stars using their spikes, including, Kieron Pollard, Maia Bouchier, and Lauren Filer.

ME+U Cricket Footwear

Me+U cricket shoes are new for 2024 but have been in production since 2019. There are three options: the men's all rounder, women's all rounder and unisex bowling shoe which all have unique features but maintain stability at the heart of the brand. The idea for the ME+U cricket shoes came to Founder, Matt Carter, after he sustained an ankle dislocation while bowling and has since used expertise from designers experienced other stop-start sports to create a shoe that is stable and spread the load of impact when batting, bowling and fielding. This includes a unique ME+U heel stabiliser and a hard toe box to both take the impact and protect the player while they wear the shoes. The ME+U women's all rounder is a refreshing addition to the cricket footwear and sports footwear markets and comes from years of feet scanning, testing by international players and advice from England legend Lydia Greenway to create a female-fit shoe characterised by a higher arch and thinner heel.
