The Launch Of The New Serious Sport Website

The launch of the new Serious Sport website signals a seismic improvement for the company and the customer experience.

The most important thing the new website does is it makes organising teamwear, buying equipment or booking the cricket centre with Serious Sport even easier.

“We have launched the new website for several reasons, over the last ten years we have become specialists in personalised team clothing, but we’ve been very focused on the cricket market, producing a lot of garments for clubs and teams.

“However, in the last four of five years, we have developed a fantastic on-field and off-field teamwear range for netball, hockey, rugby, football, and lots of other sports.

“It was a great time to refresh our site and our brand to represent that we are now a multi-sport teamwear and reflects our offering more.”

Neil Rider, Managing Director, Serious Sport

The new platform has sought to enhance the user experience and digitally improving the site was at the forefront of the planning process.

“We want to make sure the customer journey is as simple and easy as possible. In today’s world people are ordering on the go and want to be able to order on their mobile phone to be delivered quickly.

“The new website means you can go design your own kit from scratch, put your sponsors, logos, name and number on it, we can make the kit and dispatch it to you in five to seven days.”

Neil Rider, Managing Director, Serious Sport

Our unique teamwear service sets us apart in the UK so it was only right to have a platform that facilitates multiple orders, from multiple teams and multiple sports all at the same time with unrivalled delivery times.

The process of a new website has been a long time in the making and after plenty of meticulous planning and investment, now is the perfect time to take this step.

Rider said: “We just serviced hundreds of customers for the start of the netball, rugby, football, and hockey season so hopefully all that ordering is done.

“As we move into next year, we know we have a cricket season approaching and we also wanted to have the platform up and running pre-Christmas to provide a unique user experience for buying Christmas presents.”

The website represents another stage of the company’s development and growth with plans to increase the current number of clubs from 1,000 to over 3,000 and the website will showcase our service.
