Location: Serious Sport Group – Serious Cricket – Dummer Basingstoke Employment Type: Seasonal 37.5 hours per week. – Initial Contract March -May £12.21p/h - £12.71p/h Reports To: Production Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch Assistant to support the packing and dispatch of sports clothing and equipment. The role involves preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, and helping maintain an efficient dispatch area. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being part of a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Pick, pack, and prepare sports clothing and equipment for dispatch

· Check orders for accuracy, correct quantities, personalisation and quality before shipping

· Label parcels and complete basic dispatch documentation

· Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required

· Keep the dispatch and storage areas clean, organised, and safe

· Meet daily dispatch targets during peak periods

· Help load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries

· Work closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to meet dispatch deadlines

· Follow health and safety procedures at all times

· Report damaged or missing stock to the supervisor

Requirements & Skills

· Previous warehouse or dispatch experience preferred but not essential

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately

· Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

· Basic computer or scanning system skills

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Ability to work well as part of a team

· Willingness to work flexible hours if required during busy periods

Desirable (but not essential)

· Interest in sports or sporting equipment

· Experience using warehouse management systems
