Step One
Go to the Cricket Centre page on the new website which can be found under cricket and then in the ‘What We Offer Section’ click Net Lane & Area Hire.

The new Serious Sport website is still the place to book the nets and arena at the Dummer Cricket Centre.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to book some cricket at the centre and an introduction to the new recurring booking function.
Step Two and Three
The availability, both times, lanes and arena, appears on this page and you can select as many as you’d like on however many days you would like to.
Your selection will then appear at the top of the page along with the total cost of all your selection. An hour in the nets cost £25.00 while the arena costs £75.00 an hour.
Once you are happy with your selection, click continue.
Step Four
The new website offers the chance to add the use of a bowling machine to your net which is labelled as an Extra. The cost of a bowling machine is £5.00.
If you do not want any extra, you can go straight to continue under Summary.
Step Five
The penultimate step is to put in your details and accept the Terms and Conditions.
The details include Date of Birth – you must be over 18 or accompanied by an adult to book and use a net lane.
If you are not, then Serious reserves the right to cancel your booking due to safety reasons.
After these are completed, add the booking to your basket.
The basket
There will be a final summary of your order and an opportunity to pay for your booking. Once this is done you are good to go and pack your cricket bag – you are booked to have a net at the Dummer Cricket Centre!
Recurring booking function
The new website signals the launch of the exciting and very useful recurring booking function.
Now when you make a booking you can make the same booking daily, weekly, or monthly for up to ten weeks at a time. This is of course availability dependent but makes it easy to manage and book.
